Give-Aways

I have been wanting to join for months now. This is the birthday gift I requested from my husband. I can't wait to select my software title that comes with joining and am hoping to get more organizing tips from the weekly letters.

Cook'n in High Altitudes
Notes from Folks...

Hi Dan,

I’ve been a fan of Cook’n for a long time now and have some relatives who have just moved to Santa Fe NM and need help with their baking. Is there anything you have that can help them????

Thanks for any help you can give us.

Hi Darla,

We frequently get questions regarding cooking in high altitudes. The best resource for any state is the local extension agency. You can usually find the number for the county extension agent in the local phone book, government section.

Most states also have county extension websites. The home economists for each area really understand how the altitude, climate, and other factors affect food. They are ever ready to assist.

Meanwhile, here's some information on high-altitude baking your friends will find helpful.
