I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Phruit Phudge

  Download this recipe.

2 cans apple, grapefruit, or
7 envelopes plain gelatin
1/2 c water boiling


Use any unsweetened juice concentrate EXCEPT pineapple.

Allow juice to defrost and reach room temperature; do not dilute. Combine gelatin in a saucepan with the contents of 1 can of concentrate. Wait 1 minute, until gelatin is soft. Add boiling water, then heat and stir very gently until gelatin is melted. Remove from heat and stir in remaining can of undiluted defrosted concentrate.

Pour into 8-inch nonstick square cake pan and chill until firm. Cut into 1-inch squares. Store in refrigerator, covered.
