Crunchy Butterscotch Squares

Serves: 16


        

  Download this recipe.

1/3 cup butter or margarine
4 1/2 cups corn flakes crushed
1 cup coconut flaked
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup nuts coarsely chopped
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk


Preheat oven to 350°.

Melt butter in an 8-inch square baking dish. Evenly layer corn flake crumbs, then coconut, butterscotch chips, and nuts. Evenly pour condensed milk over nuts.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown on top. Cool dish on a wire rack. Cut into squares.

Cover and store in a cool place.
