Fall used to be my favorite because of anticpating the holidays. Now living in Florida I found all the Spring weather I missed when it seemed like we went from winter straight to summer. I enjoy springlike weather almost half a year!

Spring...because everything is new and fresh. And besides it is beginning to warm up in the midwest.

Fall has a glow all its own with its colors and beauty. It warms the heart to know the heat is cooling down and winter is coming with the holidays. A time for family and sharing that doesn't seem as intimate as that time in summer.

I like the cool, clear air.

Each season has special joys!

I don't know why anyone else votes for fall, but 2 Sep is the beginning of Birthday Month. Two kids on the 2nd, one on the fifth, me on the 25th, and my oldest took an extra day to get here, so her birthday is 1 Oct. Happy Birthday!

I love the brisk nights, warm days and that certain tang in the air.

I am hot ALL the time, and I live in Los Angeles, so I look forward to winter. Cooler temperatures and great clothes - what could be bad?

I know most people don't like winter but in the winter, you can go outside and enjoy the snow or stay in and have chili or hot vegetable soup and hot chocolate, or spiced apple cider and all those other comfort foods we all love. Margaret

My answer to this question depends a little on what season I'm in currently. I know that after a long winter, nothing makes me happier than signs of spring!

The beautiful colors

It is more beautiful to see new leaves sprouting than to see piles of dead leaves on your lawn.

To pick just one season as my favorite is really hard, but I picked fall because my birthday is Oct 12 and my husbands's is Oct. 16 and my Mother's is Oct. 6, plus it is a lovely time of year. The colors are vibrant and the days are warm and nights cool.

It's not to hot it's not to cold but just right

actually spring and fall is my favorite. Its not hot or cold.

just love the fresh air smell

Fall was ALWAYS my favorite season. Then I had a son that died October 1991 and at the funeral the room was surrounded with beautiful sprays of Fall Color. Now every year when the fall colors peak a tear comes to my eye as I say a prayer for my deceased son and a Thank-You for all the people who were there for me when I really needed them.:-)

We love gumbos and soups and can't wait till the fall to cook and eat these.

we only have summer and winter here in arizona and the winters from end of Sept. thru May are just gorgeous

All the leaves to play in, apples. cool crisp walks...

Since I live in south Florida, winter is the only time I get a break from the heat

it's almost a tie between spring and summer....but fall wins out because of the colors, summer heat is waning, nights are cool again and corn, squash and apples are ripe.

Spring is when everything is coming backe to life. Those of us in the snowbelt also can start THINKING about putting away our shovels.

(EXCEPT HERE IN SAN ANTONIO!) the air gets a little crisp, so it's not too hot, not too cold. I can start wearing at least light weight slacks, which hide my FPK's (Fat Polish Knees), and like Holly, I love the autumn leaves!

I like the warmer weather

I live in hot and sunny Arizona, so winter is the perfect time of year here. We can actually wear that sweater that great-grandma hand knit for us!

Living in southwest Florida, this is the time when temperatures drop along with the humidity. I can finally open the windows and enjoy the fresh air.

I love to look forward to spring after the long, dark, cold months of winter. I love the cool mornings and walking around looking at the newly bloomed flowers and their beautiful scent that fills the air.

FALL IS FAV BECAUSE I GET TO COOK LOTS OF YUMMY FOOD USING THE BOUNTY OF THE HARVEST-MAKING SALSA, APPLE PIES FOR THE FREEZER, BOTTLED PEACHES & PEACH JAM & COBBLER!! IT'S ALL GOOD!!! ZUCCHINI CHOCOLATE CAKE AND PUMPKIN BREAD . AND THEN THERE IS THE HOLIDAY COOKING--THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS--I CAN BAKE AND COOK TO MY HEART'S CONTENT & I HEAR NO COMPLAINTS. WELL, EXCEPT FOR THE ONES ABOUT A FEW EXTRA LBS. AQUIRED FROM PARTAKING OF ALL THIS YUMMINESS!!

I like fall, because my brithday is in the fall also . But I also love the cool days.

It means winter is over. I love seeing the earth wake up again.

comfort food, golden leaves, pumpkin, crisp air, gobblins, hugs that warm you to the heart...who wouldn't love Fall
