Turkey Tracks

By Bethany Booth

Uh Oh! Looks like the Thanksgiving Turkeys are leaving tracks in the mud! These peanut butter-chocolate Turkey Track cookies are so fun to make with kids and incredibly tempting for grown-ups to taste as well.

You will need:

1 dozen peanut butter cookies (great recipe below)
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
¼ cup peanut butter
24 small pretzel sticks, broken in half
1 or 2 really cute kids to help

Directions:

1.Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in microwave for 30 seconds; stir and heat for an additional 20-30 seconds if needed.
2.Have kids help dip cookies tops into bowl of chocolate or spread chocolate with a butter knife onto each cookie.
3.While chocolate is soft, press broken pretzel sticks into chocolate making the shape of a turkey foot.
4.Enjoy the cookies warm and messy or let the chocolate set in the refrigerator for an hour.

You can use this same idea to make Turkey Tracks Snacks by using round crackers and cream cheese or cheese whiz. Happy turkey hunting!
