Hi -- I love pumpkin butter on my toast & biscuits. However I have not found a recipe to make it. Can you help?
Since processing pumpkin butter is not recommended as safe by home economists, I found a recipe that only requires refrigeration.

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick), softened
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Stir until well blended, cover and chill until ready to use. Refrigerate for up to three days.
