A Tip from Brent

I asked Brent, my head tech support guy, to give me some ideas for the Cook'n Tip article in this month's issue of the HomeCook'n Newsletter.

He said "tell them not to eat yellow snow." Then, in a more serious note, he suggested that I recommend that you use the Export feature to backup your own personal recipes.

When you use the Cook'n Backup feature, it backs up the entire recipe database. The Export feature allows you to export just one cookbook to a file.

He has found that it is sometimes easier for people with computer problems to simply import their own personal cookbook from an exported file than it is to restore the entire recipe database.

So there's some food for thought from the tech support man himself! Thanks for the advice Brent!

FYI, to use the backup feature, simply click File|Backup. To use the Export feature, click Recipes on the toolbar, select your cookbook, and then click File|Export|Cook'n Recipe File.

Happy Cook'n!

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any additional questions or suggestions.

Have a great day!
Dan
