I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Extra-Easy Veggie Pizza

Serves: 8

1 1/2 cups Original Bisquick®
1/3 cup very hot water
1 (8-ounce) can pizza sauce
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 large bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
1 small red onion, sliced and separated into rings
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (6 ounces)


1. Heat oven to 450°. Grease 12-inch pizza pan. Stir Bisquick and hot water; beat 20 strokes until soft dough forms. Press dough in pizza pan, using fingers dusted with Bisquick; pinch edge to form 1/2-inch rim.

2. Spread pizza sauce over dough. Top with mushrooms, bell pepper and onion. Sprinkle with cheese.

3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.

HIGH ALTITUDE (3500 to 6500 feet): No changes.
