I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. Grilled Cajun Salmon

Serves: 2


Download this recipe.

2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
2 cups broccoli
2 salmon steaks
2 cups butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon buttermilk
2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon pepper


1. Combine herb butter ingredients until fluffy.

2. Place broccoli in boiling water and cook for 3 minutes or until tender. Drain and keep warm.

3. Season both sides of salmon with Cajun spices. Place salmon on heated grill for 3 minutes, then move a quarter turn. Continue cooking for 2 minutes. This will give the fish nice grill markings when done. Turn salmon over. Cook for 2 minutes and repeat turning procedure. Cook for 2 minutes.
