Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Easy Pasta And Sausage

Serves: 4

           Download this recipe.

3 cups uncooked radiatore pasta
4 turkey italian sausages, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 large green bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1 cup marinara or spaghetti sauce
Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired

Cook and drain pasta as directed on package. Cook sausages in 12-inch skillet over medium heat about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until no longer pink; drain.

Stir bell pepper into sausages; cook 2 minutes. Stir in marinara sauce and pasta. Cook about 2 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with cheese.

Betty's Tip
Turkey Italian sausages are available in two varieties, sweet and hot. Sweet sausages tend to have a stronger fennel flavor (reminiscent of licorice), and the hot sausages are spicier from the red peppers.
