Several recipes call for wine, vermouth, etc. etc. These are merely 'names' to me and I don't know if they are looking for the flavor or is it necessary for the recipe. I have seen some that say you could substitute chicken broth.... Could you help me? This is a total new area for me as for generations we've not had alcoholic drinks in our homes. I've avoided these recipes in the past, is there a way around that?
