Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Anne Holland's German Pancakes

Serves: 5

           Download this recipe.

Melt 6 Tbs. butter or margarine in 9x13 cake pan. (I just put the butter in the pan and place it in the oven until it melts.)

In a blender:
1 1/2 cups eggs (about 7-8)
1 1/2 cups milk
Blend well.
Remove lid from blender. While blender is running, add:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
Blend till it is well mixed.

Pour mixture into pan with hot butter. Return to the oven and bake 20-25 minutes. It will be fluffy and brown when done (looks like it will overflow the pan). Serve with syrup or powdered sugar (Or if you're weird, like my husband, you can use ketchup - he thinks they're fluffy eggs.)
