Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

Plastic vs. Wood

Regarding the safety of wooden cutting boards, please check this research on cutting board safety.

I think you will be quite surprised! Thanks!

Joey

Hi Joey,

Thank you for this informative link. I was so glad to read the science behind wood vs. plastic cutting boards. So often, these philosophies are preached without real data to back them up. The researchers in CA were able to put it to the test and come back with practical and helpful data to back up why wood is probably better than plastic when it comes to home cook'n.

I'm forwarding your message to our website folks. Hopefully they can spread the message that wood is good! Thanks for taking the time to write.

Sincerely,

Desiri Wightman, R.D.
