Give-Aways

I have spent the last 2 hours reading your newsletter and wonderful recipes. I have already printed a whole bunch I want to try. I love them because they are using ingredients one has on hand. I love that and just wanted you to know how much we appreciate all your hard work in putting together this newsletter. Thank you very much.

What About the Salad?

Hi,

I was wondering why there wasn't any salad or fruit in the last 5-day Meal Plan?

Thanks for the feedback. When I do the meal plans they are generally intended to be 2-3 recipes per day that make a nice guideline for the meals. Sometimes they include one side dish and a dessert, but not always. I do try to add a variety of foods, but sometimes I miss things too. Like I said, the meal plan is a spine to your weekly plan, I would certainly hope that you toss in salads, fruits, and other sides that your family loves each week.

I will watch that more carefully and I will make sure to add some delicious salads in the next issue! Like I said though, toss a salad up with any meal or have fresh fruit for dessert! I think adding those things to the table is super important. Sometimes they just don't show up on the limited recipes we have room for. I will certainly be aware and try to add them more often even just in text to the plan.
