There's a lot of truth to this saying. It has motivated me to backup important data regularly. If you have spent a lot of time entering your own recipes into the Cook'n software, you should remember to backup your data from time to time.

Under certain conditions, the Cook'n software will automatically back up your recipes. However, you should consider doing this on your own from time to time. You may want to even save a copy on disk to protect yourself in case of a hard disk failure.

To backup your recipe database, simply run Cook'n and click File|Backup.
