The MasterCook web servers have now been officially shut down. If you still have the MasterCook desktop software installed on your Windows computer, click here to see how to export your recipes from MasterCook and then import them into Cook'n.
However, if you do not have the MasterCook desktop software installed on your computer, and you do not have another backup of your recipes, your recipes may no longer be accessible through MasterCook.com.
Fortunately, We Preserved the Old MasterCook Recipe Archives
Fortunately, before the MasterCook servers were shut down, we made a special effort to preserve customer recipe collections for a limited time to help users migrate to Cook'n. In some cases, we may be able to locate your old MasterCook recipes in these archives and manually recover them for you.
Although this makes recipe recovery possible in many cases, it is no longer an automated process. A personalized, white-glove recipe recovery service performed by a real Cook'n Elf technician is required. One of the Cook'n Elves must search the archived MasterCook data, attempt to locate your account, re-construct your cookbooks, export your recipes, import them into Cook'n, and sync them to your Cook'n Cloud account.

Because this recovery service requires manual work by our magical Cook'n Elves, there is a modest one-time fee of $129.99.
Once you place your order, one of our technicians will begin working on your recovery request. Please understand that recipe recovery may take several days, depending on the number of requests ahead of yours and the complexity of locating your old MasterCook data.
When we have recovered your recipes, we will contact you by email with instructions. In most cases, once your recipes have been imported into your Cook'n Cloud account, all you need to do is launch Cook'n and your recipes will automatically sync to your device.
Please note: The original $10 MasterCook membership transfer fee covered moving your membership to Cook'n. Since the MasterCook servers have now been retired, recovering recipes from the archived MasterCook data requires a separate manual recovery process performed by a technician.

FYI...this is a bargain. One of my hard drives crashed once before and I had to pay $1,800 to have a service provider recover my family photos. And, when I got the family photos back...I was happy to pay the fee! Considering the effort required to recover your recipes, $129.99 is a drop in the bucket!
