DORIS SCHIER'S BARBECUE SAUCE

THIS IS DORIS'S ORIGINAL RECIPE FOR BARBECUE SAUCE



















Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon chile powder
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chili sauce
2 drops tobasco hot sauce

Directions:

Add all ingredients to pan and boil until well mixed. Cool in refrigerator.

Slow bake ribs in oven at 325° for 4 hours.

Cover ribs for first three hours.

To make ribs especially tender, marinade in any sauce the night before.
