Broccoli with Garlic Oyster Sauce

Serves: 4

6 cups hot water
14 ounces broccoli florets (about 2 pounds before trimming)
6 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
1/2 cup diced mushrooms
3 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons Chicken Stock
2 tablespoons thinly sliced, peeled fresh ginger
2 teaspoons Thai sweet black bean sauce
1/2 teaspoon black pepper


Bring water to boil in a stockpot. Add broccoli and boil 2 minutes. Drain in a colander and set aside.

Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add garlic and sauté until lightly colored. Add remaining ingredients and sauté, for 1 minute. Add broccoli and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes to coat with sauce. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve at once.
