Almond Joy Smoothie |

The Almond Joy candy bar, introduced in 1947, remains popular to this day, and for good reason. Who could resist such deliriously enticing ingredients as almonds, coconut, and milk chocolate? Fortunately, many ice cream parlors have used these very components to create a sinfully rich ice cream, and when this frozen ambrosia is melded with milk, banana, and chocolate fudge, you end up with an irresistible Almond Joy Smoothie sensation.
2/3 to 3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons Milk Chocolate Sauce
1 cup partially frozen diced bananas
1/2 cup Almond Joy or favorite coconut or vanilla ice cream

Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix by using the on/off pulse function until the ingredients are mostly blended. Continue mixing, gradually increasing the speed, until the mixture is smooth. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with a Chocolate-Dipped Frozen Baby Banana (see Great Garnishes), if desired.
