___ head lettuce romaine
_ cup spinach fresh, rinsed and stemmed
___ cup onions chopped
___ pound mushrooms fresh, thinly sliced
___ cup celery thinly sliced
_ 10-ounce package peas thawed and drained
Salt and freshly ground pepper
___ cup mayonnaise real
_ 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice fresh
___ teaspoon dill weed dried weed, crushed
Few drops of hot pepper sauce
___ pound bacon cut in 1/2 " pieces, fried crisp and drained
Tear romaine and spinach into bite-size pieces. In a 2-quart glass bowl layer lettuce, spinach, onion, mushrooms, celery and peas; very lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl blend mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill and hot pepper sauce. Spoon overpeas; cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight.
To serve, sprinkle with bacon.
