1. Brown beef in shortening, breaking it with a spoon into small bits. Add onion, celery, tomato puree and spaghetti sauce. Cook, uncovered, over low heat for 20 minutes.
2. Combine crushed cracker crumbs, beaten egg, grated cheese, milk, parsley and salt. Stir cracker crumb mixture into tomato mixture. Pour into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake, uncovered, at 325°F for 40 minutes.
