Pour pineapple into an ungreased 13" x 9" baking pan spread evenly. Sprinkle half the cake mix on top spread cherries over cake mix. Sprinkle on remaining cake mix add nuts. Drizzle with butter bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
