Turkey Sausage Patties

Ingredients

1/2 pound ground turkey
1/4 cup low-sodium beef broth
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons fine dried bread crumbs
1/8 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon fresh minced sage
Fresh ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon ground red bell pepper

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except cooking spray cover and set aside for at least 15 to 20 minutes (refrigerate if overnight). Coat a large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium heat until hot.

2. Shape mixture into 4 patties and place in hot skillet. Fry patties for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, remove, and let drain on paper towels. Transfer to serving platter and serve while hot.
