Thick And Beefy Pinto Bean Stew

Ingredients

8 ounces lean ground beef (96% fat-free)
0.969 pound pinto bean, rinsed and drained
0.906 pound stewed tomatoes, cajun-style
3/4 cup water
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

1. Heat a large nonstick saucepan over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook 2 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring constantly. Add beans, tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover tightly, and simmer 15 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and stir in cumin and pepper.
