Snow Peas With Sesame Seeds


Serves: 6

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 pound trimmed fresh snow pea
3 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon chopped shallot
Fresh ground pepper

Directions:

1. Boil water in a saucepan. Add snow peas, and blanch one minute. Drain.

2. In a skillet, toast sesame seeds for 1 minute over medium heat. Add snow peas, shallots, and pepper. Continue sautéing for 1 to 2 minutes until snow peas are coated with sesame seeds. Serve.
