Skillet Ground Beef And Corn

Ingredients

4 ounces uncooked no-yolk or whole wheat egg noodles
1 pound lean ground beef (96% fat-free)
1 cup frozen corn kernels
1 cup water
3/4 cup picante sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Cook noodles according to package directions, omitting any salt or fat.

2. Meanwhile, heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over high heat. Add beef and cook 3 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring constantly. Add corn, picante sauce, water, and chili powder.

3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until thickened and most of the liquid has been absorbed.

4. Remove from heat, stir in salt, and serve over cooked noodles.
