Mexicali Dip With Chips

Ingredients

8 slices reduced-fat American cheese
1 cup diced fresh tomato, patted dry
1 (4-ounce) can chopped green chili
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
hot pepper sauce, to taste
78 baked tortilla chips

Directions:

1. Place cheese in a medium microwaveable bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on HIGH setting 60 seconds. Stir and microwave for 30 more seconds.

2. Add tomatoes, chilies, and onions. Stir, cover with wrap, and cook 60 seconds longer or until heated through. Stir in hot sauce, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
