Green Beans With Garlic And Onion

Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic (large), minced
1/4 cup white vinegar
6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh ground pepper

Directions:

1. Steam beans for 7 minutes or until just tender. Set aside.

2. In a skillet, heat oil over low heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté for 8 to 10 minutes or until onion is translucent. Transfer beans to a serving bowl and add onion mixture and vinegar, tossing well. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper and serve.
