I recently purchased your Cook'n Recipe Software and love it! I have tried several other cookbook programs but found them unsatisfactory.

My main goal was to put my own recipes into a system that was easy and quick. I have put in about 20 so far, and I love it. It is so easy to use.

I have tried several of your recipes and they all have been wonderful!

Thank you!!

Cooking and baking have been a trademark since Chris's childhood. In 1964, Chris was named Homemaker of Tomorrow by none other than Betty Crocker. Chris says creating in her kitchen appeals to all of her senses; she finds great satisfaction in the whole process: planning the meal or special dish, making it, serving it, and seeing how it is enjoyed.

A typical morning starting at 5:30 a.m. has included taking the dog for a brisk walk; making lunch for the kids; feeding the two cats, the gerbils, the turtle, and the two parakeets; planning ahead for dinner; driving five boys in a carpool to school-all of this before meeting her responsibilities as an executive of a major art museum. Chris loves to put on an apron and bake cookies, yet she is a divorced mother who has worked full-time since her very earliest postcollege days.

Among other commitments, she has worked on a Junior League project to combat emotional child abuse and has been an active volunteer for the ARK, a Jewish social service organization, and for environmental causes. She has assisted the local food pantry and thinks nothing of baking at midnight, if need be, for tomorrow's school bake sale or reception. From her earliest working days, she has helped not-for-profit institutions meet their fund-raising, membership, and marketing objectives, currently as a vice president of The Art Institute of Chicago.

Chris has advised that her favorite product is General Mills unbleached Gold Medal flour, which was often endorsed by Betty Crocker. A favorite recipe, among others, is good old-fashioned Apple Pie, as prepared from the recipe on pages 132-33 of "Betty Crocker: Dinner for Two" (Golden Press, New York, 1979). Although she prefers to make recipes from scratch, she is no immune to selective labor-saving products. Betty Crocker's Fruit Roll-Ups are a lunch and snack-time favorite of her daughter and friends.
