| 4 cups apple cider |
| 2 cups unsweetened cranberry juice (cranberry cocktail, cran-apple, or cran-raspberry) |
| 2 cups frozen or fresh unsweetened blackberries |
| ½ teaspoon whole allspice |
| ½ teaspoon whole cloves |
| ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg |
| 4 packets splenda |
In a large saucepan, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, blackberries, and spices. Slowly bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain to remove seeds. Add hot water to taste (about 1 cup) and the sweetener stir to mix well.
Serve hot in mugs. Other berries such as raspberries or strawberries may be substituted for blackberries.
