Chicken Pillows


2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls (8 ct packages)
1 can Sam's Club canned chicken, drained (or equivalent 9oz shredded chicken)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
20 cracks pepper
4 tablespoons melted butter
3 ounces dry stuffing mix, crushed (1/2 package)
1 can jellied cranberry sauce

Preheat oven to 350 and move oven rack to the middle of the oven. Crush 3 ounces of stuffing mix in ziploc bag with rolling pin. Combine chicken, cream cheese, and spices in small bowl. Spoon approximately one tablespoon of filling onto each of the 16 crescent rolls. Rolls the dough into a pocket and pinch the seams together to seal. Dip in melted butter and then in the stuffing mix crumbs. Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serve with cranberry jelly.
