I’m sitting here at the copmputer. It’s been a pretty quiet day today, so I’ve been trying to finish off the chocalate truffles that didn’t get sold on Mother’s day. It’s a hard job, but someone has to eat them so it doesn’t seem like a waste of money.
I believe that everyone should sacrifice something for work. It’s just what us decent people do.

I got to barbeque for the first time over the weekend. It was awesome. Not to brag or anything, but I’m pretty much the best griller there ever was. Seriously. I rock.

I have absolutely nothing to spotlight today, so I’ll use this space to complain about gas prices. Ridiculous, aren’t they?
I try to adopt a moderate approach to important issues and look seriously at the options present. But if gas prices get any worse, my sympathy for the polar bears may go down a little. OK, if gas prices get any worse, I may start up a “Blitz the Arctic” campaign. I’ve gotta drive to school and work every day!
I guess it all comes down to sympathy for the environment vs. wanting to get to IHOP for less than four bucks a gallon. I’m starting to fall off the fence on this one…

OK, today has been declared an official day of recognition. I didn’t believe it when I walked into the office today, but it’s been confirmed. Today is Customer Appreciation Day, which means that we’re running a couple of specials, being more polite on the phones, and thinking cheerful thoughts all day: Just for you! Our customers mean everything to us, and we could not survive without them.
