Shoney's Strawberry Glazed Pie (Kevin)

Ingredients:

2 pounds Fresh strawberries (Clean, Cored, Chunked)
1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh water
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons strawberry jello (Regular)
red food color
9 inches pie shells (Regular or graham or chocolate)
whipped cream

Directions:

Mis sugar and corn starch, add to water in a sauce pan. heat till starting to thicken, then add Jello and red food color. Place Strawberries in pie crust and cover with hot mixture. Refridge for 6 hours or over night.

Notes:
If strawberries are not sweet, use 1/4 C confectioners sugar dusted over berries, leave to liquiidfy and reduce to 3/4 C in glaze.
If you have some strawberry liqueur mix some with the water to gain aroma. Still measuring 1 cup total.
